An earthen home gets a modern-rustic overhaul.

Josh partnered with the owner, a former interior designer, to renovate an out-dated 3,200 square foot earthen home into a warm, modern, rustic space.  Josh experimented with and hand crafted original elements for this project like a shotgun treated backsplash and implemented unique techniques like charcoal treating the reclaimed wood floors.

A natural contemporary whole house remodel.

This house was a tired, cookie-cutter ranch.  Josh partnered with the owners to transform it into a fresh contemporary home with natural accents like white washed local beetle-kill shiplap, and a breezy open floor plan.

An charming old structure gets new life as a haven for artists and writers.

Josh converted a lovely old horse barn into a beautiful office for a literary magazine and art studio.  Wanting to maintain the charm of this building, Josh kept the beams and the rustic wood doors, refinished the concrete floors and designed unique rustic touches like living edge log shelves.

Old Town Modern Cottage

This is the owners' personal home. Josh and Nicole completely demoed the interior of an Old Town 1920's cottage and remodeled it from top to bottom.  Favorite highlights are vaulted ceilings with beetle kill rafters, an open floor plan with two archways, handcrafted stucco outdoor fireplace, reclaimed cedar shake gables and a seasonal outdoor shower.
